THE TANDEM THEATRE

WorkspaceCT's theatre education helps young people develop a strong sense of self and identity, build empathy and social skills, and broadens the ways teens make meaning of the complex world around them. Every year WorkspaceCT offers a range of theatre classes for students ranging from 4 years old to 18 years old and produces several student productions. Our programs are taught by professional actors and musicians and have a multitude of benefits for students. They practice speaking in front of audiences to raise their comfort level while speaking to groups. They explore different human perspectives and develop empathy for others. They meet peers from other schools and develop trusting and cooperative relationships.
