About the Event
Take your woodworking skills to the next level by enrolling in Woodshop 101, an eight-week class from February 8th to April 5th, from 4:30-6 pm. You’ll learn the basics of woodworking, including how to read and interpret plans, measure accurately, use various tools and materials, and apply basic joinery techniques. Through hands-on projects, you’ll gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of woodworking and be able to create a variety of projects by the end of the course. All materials and tools are provided. There may be an additional cost for projects outside the scope of the class. No Class on March 22nd. Recommended age 12 to 18.

This Wood Shop class is designed to teach the basics of woodworking. You will learn how to safely use various tools and materials, including saws, drills, sanders, and other hand tools. You will also learn how to read and interpret plans, measure accurately, and use basic joinery techniques. Through hands-on projects, you will understand the fundamentals of woodworking. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to create various projects and understand how to use woodworking tools safely.
