About the Event
- This class is taught by Leland Williams, a registered RRT-trained teacher in Voice and Speech. Ms. Williams spent 2 years as a voice student of the renowned voice teacher Patsy Rodenburg. In this 8-class semester, students will gain awareness of vocal faults and learn strategies and skills to strengthen breath support, phonation, resonation, and articulation. Â A great voice takes time and discipline. Voice work is a craft. Â Discipline and practice are imperative. Students will apply newly learned vocal exercises and knowledge to songs, monologues, and scenes. Class meets from 4:30-6:30 on March 13, 20, 27 April 3, 17, 24, May 1, and 8 with a "sharecase" on May 15 at 7:00 pm.Â
