About the Event
Join Outside Perspectives and WorkspaceCT for an exciting Open House event focused on reconnecting disconnected youth through transformative outdoor programming. We invite CT School District Leaders to come together for a day of collaboration and community partnerships that will offer solutions to this pressing issue.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to meet the team from Outside Perspectives, including the Executive Director, Community Outreach & Development Director, Program Director, and Logistics & Facilitation Director. Through small group activities and icebreakers facilitated by the OP staff, you will have the chance to get to know each other and take back valuable icebreaker ideas to implement in your schools.
Additionally, you will get a taste of Outside Perspectives programming by participating in a sample fun, competitive, teambuilding day. This will not only be a great opportunity to experience OP's innovative approach firsthand but also to learn new initiatives that you can share with your school team.
Throughout the event, you will have the chance to network with neighboring district leaders, building relationships and fostering collaboration. This will provide a platform for sharing ideas and best practices, as well as potential future partnerships.
Furthermore, you will have the chance to learn more about Outside Perspectives and its Partnership Model, which focuses on reconnecting disconnected youth in school districts. You will participate in an informational session that delves into the details of how OP builds partnerships with schools, understanding the four elements of their partnership model, and the theory behind connecting schools and youth service bureaus to effectively reconnect disconnected kids.
To make this event even more accessible, we have kept the cost at just $15, which includes lunch provided for all attendees. The event will take place from 9 am to 2 pm on Friday, May 3rd.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to engage with Outside Perspectives, WorkspaceCT, and fellow school district leaders to address the critical issue of disconnected youth. Join us for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration as we work towards creating impactful solutions. Space is limited, so be sure to your spot today.
