Masterpiece Theatre: Play in a Week (1-Week Summer Program for Ages 5-9)

Dive into a world of creativity and imagination with our Masterpiece Theatre Summer Program. Join us for a week long journey under the sea, where children will have the opportunity to collaborate with local established artist Julie Czerenda and Director Leland Williams to explore the depths of their artistic expression. Renowned artist Julie Czerenda will use various mediums to create stunning artworks inspired by the vibrant marine life and captivating landscapes of Candlewood Lake and Norwalk Aquarium. Imagination will then take center stage as children transform their artwork into a mesmerizing theatre performance. Through brainstorming sessions and creative exercises children will devise an original script, design costume for a compelling performance that will culminate on June 28th at 6pm. Prepare to be amazed as the stage comes alive with color, movement and imagination.
