Kindergarten Prep! Learning How to Write and Draw Session 3

Session 3 meets Aug 14th, 16th, & 17th from 10:30 am to 11:20 am. This program begins with teaching the children proper pencil grasp for their age and helping to determine if the child has a hand preference. The course will include activities such as drawing lines, upper-case letters, and objects, all while using good pencil control. The activities are fun and positively reinforced for the children. Students will progress to learning first the upper-case letters, shapes, and then lower-case letters. Remedial work will be done with children who have learned to print but have difficulty or incorrect formation. Students are asked to bring a healthy snack and a water bottle daily. 

Children are required to be restroom trained for this event. 

You may register for this event as part of the half-day program for ages 4 and up.  The half-day program will include:  Kindergarten Prep!  Learning how to Write and Draw with Miss Elizabeth, Little Baby Caterpillar Teaches Science, and Beginning Piano Summer Session.  Register for all 3 and receive a discount!
