About the Event

Future Script, Inc - a local non-profit - is excited to offer this FREE opportinity to students in grades 5-8.

Introduction to Python: Students will explore the fundamentals of Python programming through interactive lessons and hands-on coding exercises.

Problem-Solving Skills: Through coding challenges and projects, children will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for programming and beyond.

Creative Coding: Participants will learn to express their creativity through code, creating simple games and applications.

Collaborative Learning: This workshop encourages teamwork and peer learning as students work together on coding projects and share their discoveries.

Final Project Showcase: The program will conclude with an exciting project of the student’s design.

About FutureScript: FutureScript is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the accessibility of computer science education and resources for youth. We believe that in an era of expanding computer science influence, every child should have equal access to the opportunities it can provide.

Our Vision: To provide equal access and opportunity to youth who want to learn and create through code. Our courses cover a range of topics and skills, from visual block-based coding to Python and Java programming.
