About the Event

Attention all car enthusiasts and food lovers! We regret to inform you that the inaugural GoBaby Go CCSU Car show, originally scheduled for Friday, September 22nd, will be postponed until the Spring.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but rest assured that we are committed to bringing you an exciting and unforgettable event. Stay tuned for the new date; we promise it will be worth the wait.

When the time comes, join us for an evening filled with fun, food, and fantastic cars. Get up close and personal with an impressive array of vehicles and indulge in mouthwatering culinary treats that satisfy even the most discerning palate.

In addition, there will be special appearances by Kizer, the beloved CCSU

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for our very first GoBaby Go CCSU Car show. Date TBA for an exciting evening filled with activities and delicious food. This event will provide a unique opportunity to meet Kizer, the CCSU mascot, as well as athletes from our esteemed sports teams. It is also a chance to showcase and admire the incredible vehicles that have been constructed.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact us at carlsonj@ccsu.edu. We welcome everyone, including prior builders, car recipients and their families, school administrations, and prospective builders.

The event will kick off at 5pm with a meet and greet with Kizer and Dr. James Delaura, Professor and Department Chair of the Technology & Engineering Education Department. Following this, the car show, along with food and enjoyable activities, will commence. This event is proudly hosted by C.A.R.E.S. (Collaboration for Assistive Resources Equipment and Services), WorkspaceCT, and CCSU. Once again, if you would like to participate, please reach out to us at carlsonj@ccsu.edu. We eagerly anticipate your presence and look forward to a memorable evening.
